Each year, graduating seniors have the opportunity to leave behind a lasting legacy of their time spent at Xavier University of Louisiana. Graduating senior classes have raised money through the Annual Fund in support of scholarships or a designated area of need. This longstanding tradition unites seniors to give back in support of Xavier's mission.
It is now easier than ever to give back by making a gift in support of scholarships. Your gift will help provide aid to current and future students and ensure that your class is forever recognized.
We're suggesting a gift to commemorate your class (for example if you are graduating in the class of 2012 donate $20.12). But a donation of any size can help make a difference in the lives and experiences of Xaverites for generations to come.
To make a gift online please visit http://www.xula.edu/alumni/giving.html, select the Xavier University Annual Fund, and designate your gift to the Senior Class Gift.
The Xavier Pre-Alumni organization created the Saving Our Studetns (SOS) initiative at Xavier to assist in the fundraising for the newly established XSCAPE Fund. The Xavier Student Crisis Aide for Personal Emergency (XSCAPE)Fund will provide emergency financial assistance to students who experience unforseen or unusual circumstances due to personal or family emergencies. Students can be awarded one-time grants that contribute to tuition, fees, room & board, or other needs such as medical emergencies, allowing them to alleviate burdens that prevent them from concentrating on their education and often times keeps them from completing their degrees.
All studetns in good academic standing are eligible to receive SOS funds with adequate verification of personal circumstances; however priority will be given to upperclassmen and graduating Seniors.
