Director for Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment –
On July 1, 2012, Dr. Danielle Duffourc joined the University as the Director for Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment. Dr. Duffourc takes on the responsibilities previous held by Dr. Cecile Brookover.
Prior to coming to Xavier, Dr. Duffourc served as Accreditation Support Officer in the Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Strategic Planning at Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) and as Educational Policy Analyst for the Board of Governors of the State University System of Florida. While at SUNO, she was involved in the preparation of multiple reports for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools – Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC), and her duties included working with department heads in the development of their assessment models. She also assisted the College of Business in the AACSB accreditation processes, and aided in the implementation and assessment of the SACS-COC Quality Enhancement Plan.
Dr. Duffourc holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Florida State University, as well as a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University.
Changes to Assessment Web site –
The information on the Assessment Web site is updated annually, and minor changes are made as requested by members of Xavier’s assessment community. The Assessment Schedule is posted at the beginning of each semester, listing the upcoming meetings, training activities and deadlines.
