Office of Campus Activities

Student Involvement

XAB provides unique involvement opportunities, creates unforgettable moments of your XU experience. Program Assistants on the Student Activities Programming Board (SAPB) help create involvement opportunities for students outside the classroom by providing a variety of social, educational, and recreational opportunities designed to enhance campus life throughout the academic year. By so doing, Program Assistants enrich the value of a Carleton education by engaging, supporting and inspiring all students to become active members of their community.

Through our numerous committees, students learn to plan events for the entire campus to enjoy. The Campus Activity Board programs everything from small events such as Open Mic Night to large events such as CAB After Dark and the Student Talent Show. All CAB events are absolutely free to UWF students. Also, any student can join CAB. Students start out helping us make decisions related to food, prizes and decorations, volunteering at events and promoting the events on campus. As members gain experience, there are opportunities to work with visiting artists, contract performers, serve as the night’s emcee and even take the lead on an event! Don’t miss this opportunity to meet a ton of students, learn valuable skills and make a difference at UWF!

The Office of Campus Activities provides students the necessary tools and resources for their individual and student organization success as well as supports student advocacy efforts.  This office exists to enhance each student’s experience and assist in them creating a more just and humane society.  Campus Activities offers several involvement opportunities for USC students. You can join a student organization by searching the list of more than 800 clubs and student organizations on our Student Organizations page. We also offer different types of leadership programs to help you develop valuable skills and build community on campus.
