Short Professional Biography

Subramanya R. K. Pingali received a B.S. and M.S. from Sri Satya Sai University, India in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He then worked for two years from 204 to 2006 at Aurigene discovery technologies LTD. Later, he earned his PhD in Organic Chemistry from University of New Orleans, LA in 2011. His thesis entitled “ Towards Synthesis of Magnesidin” involves a multi step synthesis of natural products classified as tetramic acids. He joined Xavier University of Louisiana as a Research Associate and has been working towards the synthesis of novel anti cancer drugs.

 

Research Interest

Design, synthesis, characterization, and biological screening of novel anti-cancer agents.
