What's New in Communication Studies? why communications
SEPTEMBER 2014 Communication Studies faculty Dr. Lisa Flanagan and Dr. Ross Louis partner with Dr. Robin Vander (English and African American and Diaspora Studies) in directing "Here Is Where You Turn Back," a staged adaptation of literary works inspired by New Orleans history and culture that traces the path of an energizing spirit through Storyville, St. Rocque Cemetery and more. The show is part of the Performance Studies Laboratory 2014-2015 season and runs October 9, 10 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Administration Building Old Chapel. All performances are free and open to the public, but seats are limited. Audience members can reserve tickets via email (xuperformancestudieslaboratory@gmail.com)
