Dr. Robinson is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Clinical and Administrative Sciences (DCAS) at Xavier University of Louisiana, College of Pharmacy. She completed her undergraduate work while serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps (Active Duty) prior to earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Xavier University of Louisiana. After graduating from Xavier, she completed an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited residency in Pharmacy Practice at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Currently, Dr. Robinson serves as an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist on a multidisciplinary medicine team at Ochsner Health System. She provides patient centered care in an acute care setting while precepting clerkship students. Dr. Robinson is also the Co-Coordinator for Pharmacokinetics and she teaches subjects in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Infectious Disease in Disease State Management I, II, and III.
She is currently a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists(ASHP), the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Kappa Epsilon Professional Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Honor Society, and the Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists (LSHP). She is also currently the Vice-President/President Elect for Southeast Chapter of LSHP.
