Things To Know

  • The 2016 Summer Symposium will feature two poster session and 4 selected student oral presentations. Refreshments will be provided.  
  • We will also be scoring the presentations and awarding prizes to those with the highest scores.  All students will receive scoring feedback through their faculty research mentor.
  • Poster printing requests should be addressed to cur@xula.edu, cc: gwillia9@xula.edu no later than Friday, July 22.
  • STUDENTS: 
    • Students doing oral presentations should upload their presentation on the laptop in UC 205 30 minutes before scheduled time.  All posters should be set-up by 12:00pm
    • We strongly encourage you to sit-in on your peer's oral presentations and visit their posters.  You know how much time and practice is involved in preparing so let's make sure they have an audience! 
  • FACULTY:  We strongly encourage you to visit various students posters and sit-in on the oral presentations.  Students are honored when you take the time to support their presentation and ask questions!  This is also an opportunity for them to grow as presenters and scientists in a supportive environment.

    • You can tweet/FB/IG your photos, video clips from the Symposium with the hashtag #XULA2016SummerSymposium
    • Like/Follow CUR social media pages and tag us!
