Sr. Alicia Costa, S.S.F. has had extensive training in the Louisiana School Turnaround Specialist program and has had experience in supervising students using this model.  She is a trained COMPASS evaluator and has had Southern Regional Education Board Leadership Curriculum Model Training.  Sr. Alicia has co-edited and conducted statistical analysis for pre-accreditation of a university Education Department with the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) and worked with the renewal of Xavier University’s accreditation effort with the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).  She also has supervised student teachers K-12 and special education.  Sr. Alicia has served in educational leadership positions and has taught various mathematics courses on the secondary level before entering upon a career in higher education.
