Oliver Hennessey is a literary historian who specializes in Shakespeare and early modern drama. He has published articles in English Literary History, English Literary Renaissance, Yeats-Eliot Review, and Borrowers and Lenders: The Journal of Shakespeare and Appropriation. His book, Yeats, Shakespeare, and Irish Cultural Nationalism, was published in 2014 by Fairleigh Dickinson University Press. He is currently researching the history of Shakespeare performance and reception in New Orleans.
