Administration Building Window Restoration
The month of May 2011 marked the beginning of another phase in the beautification process of the historic landmark that we know around campus as the Administration Building (#1). Hall Builders, Inc., restored its steel windows back to their original condition, a procedure that involves stripping the windows to bare metal, the reapplication of a specific amount of primer and finished paint, and the replacement of broken or missing glass, framing components and hardware. Phase I was completed in June 2010. We completed half of the second phase in August 2011 after the exhaustion of available funds given to this project.
