Xavier South Renovations (Phase I-Interior and II-Exterior)
Xavier South Phase I – interior renovations included, but were not limited to, interior restoration, mold remediation, air duct cleaning, carpet cleaning, accumulation prevention, repairing and replacing interior finishes that were damaged by water intrusion, necessary window replacements and other like functions. We performed a substantial amount of similar work on this facility in 2005, prior to the Hurricane Katrina event. However, damages caused by Hurricane Katrina to the windows and the building structure were never effectively identified or corrected. This phase of work was completed in the fall of 2013.
Phase II – exterior renovations will include replacing the windows, waterproofing the building, and repairing the roof to ensure the elimination of moisture intrusion throughout the entire facility. We will attempt to accomplish this while the facility is fully occupied and with little interruption to the occupants as possible.
