HOMERUN FOR EDUCATION

Junior psychology major Cyrell Roberson of Baton Rouge (Baton Rouge Magnet High) visits with Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron and wife Billye after he was selected as the recipient of the 2011-2012 Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream 4 for 4 Endowed Scholarship at Xavier. Roberson was cited for his solid academic performance and his unselfish commitment to service.

Members of the XU women’s volleyball team celebrate their first-ever Gulf Coast Athletic Conference regular season title after defeating SUNO in four sets. The Gold Nuggets went on to win the GCAC tournament title as well.
