Dr. Augustine Aruna, XU professor of clinical pharmacy & adjunct associate professor of medicine, demonstrates critical thinking in his pharmaceutical care clinical teaching of medical residents, interns, students and pharmacy students at Tulane University Hospital & Clinic. He uses an innovative method whereby he starts with any ONE drug and shows how it is related or can be connected to all drugs in its pharmacological class as well as most or all other classes of drugs, all disease states, all courses and other aspects of pharmacy and medicine. If there is ample space on the walls, he can touch on just about all material covered in the pharmacy and medical programs.
