[What is the eBulletin? How do I get my news included?] The weekly eBulletin has been designated by the University Administration as THE official vehicle for communicating non-urgent announcements and info to XU faculty, staff, and students. It is usually distributed before noon each Friday, covering the upcoming week (Monday-Sunday). If you have an announcement or info about a campus event that you wish to submit for inclusion, please send it to xunews@xula.edu or rtucker@xula.edu. Deadline for all submissions is 10:00 p.m. Thursday.

8-Week Summer Session Online Registration
Online registration for the 8-Week Summer Session will be held FRIDAY (June 02) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visit HERE for more info on all three summer sessions.

Late Fall Registration
It’s not too late to register for Fall classes. Students must meet with an advisor before registering. Visit HERE for more info or call the Registrar’s Office at 520-6790.

Foundations of Mindfulness Class
The Center for Continuing Studies and Distance Education is offering faculty and staff a 20% discount on its June Foundations of Mindfulness class. The classes, which will be held on four consecutive Saturdays beginning June 03, will focus on deep meditation, techniques to improve breathing, standing meditation, and sitting meditation. The instructor is Zen Teacher Thich Thien Tri. Space is limited. Go HERE to register or HERE for more details.

Summer Weekly Mass Schedule
Mass will be celebrated at noon from June 12 to July 14 in the St. Katharine Drexel Chapel. All are invited to attend.

Medical School Applications Now Open
Students who plan on applying to medical school during summer 2017 for entry in 2018 via the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS), American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS), and/or the Texas Medical and Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS--medical and dental schools in Texas) should begin actively working on the online applications NOW! Please be sure to continue checking your email DAILY for messages from the Premed Office regarding completing and submitting health professions school applications, securing official transcripts, submitting letters of evaluation, etc. Be advised that the Premed Office encourages students to submit their critiqued and revised medical school applications no later than July 2017 for entry in 2018. NOTE: Applications should NOT be submitted until your first set of MCAT scores are received.
