A campus master plan is a framework for land use and facilities over an extended time horizon. The Xavier master plan is using a 20-year horizon. A master plan is always a work in-process. It will be updated and revised as conditions change, as assumptions about the future are realized or not, and as institutional priorities change.
We have posted a number of campus visualizations that describe the planning activities and present overviews of the campus. As the campus community has the opportunity to view and react to the master plan framework we will continue to update the master plan site to reflect additional features of the plan.
The master planning has been focused on a planning task force organized around three subcommittees – Demographics and Student Population Growth; Academics; Infrastructure and facilities. Membership of the three subcommittees is listed under separate tabs.
