OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19
The Center is committed to working with our Greater New Orleans community members to reduce the health disparities exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic. In an effort to address these inequities in health outcomes and chronic diseases and the impacts they have had on the physical, mental and social health and wellness of African American, Latino, and other communities of color, the Center will provide pertinent information, resources, and community health education. The College of Pharmacy Center For Minority Health and Health Disparities Research and Education’s mission is to improve health outcomes of diverse communities disproportionately impacted by health and health care disparities, through community engagement and partnerships in research, education, and practice.
