Jamila Davison, MD is a board-certified emergency medicine physician. She graduated from Xavier University and received her M.D. from Meharry Medical College. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Emory School of Medicine. After residency, Dr. Davison was formally trained in community-based participatory research as a UCLA Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar and received her Master of Science in Health Services from the UCLA School of Public Health. She has served on the Institute of Medicine’s Roundtable on the Promotion of Health Equity and the Elimination of Health Disparities and as a Marshall Memorial Fellow with the German Marshall Fund. Dr. Davison has worked in telemedicine urgent care and has served on several global medical mission trips.
