Milton H. Hamblin received his Ph.D. degree from Meharry Medical College. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship training at the University of Michigan. Following completion of his postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Hamblin held a faculty position in the Department of Pharmacology at the Tulane University School of Medicine prior to joining the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Hamblin serves on the editorial boards of three scientific journals and was elected Fellow of the American Heart Association. His research focuses on vascular biology and vascular remodeling-related pathophysiological diseases, including abdominal aortic aneurysms and stroke. Dr. Hamblin has authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters while mentoring undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows. He is Course Director of Pharmacotherapeutics I, II, and III.
