Rhonda Deen, MD, FACP is a board certified internal medicine physician with 26 years of clinical experience. She received her M.D. from University of Health Sciences and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, San Antonio, TX. She recently retired from the United States Army where she served in various academic, clinical and leadership roles to include Chief, Internal Medicine Service Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon, GA; Assistant Deputy Commander Clinical Services, San Antonio Medical Center, JBSA-Ft. Sam Houston, TX; Medical Director Brooke Army Medical Center Simulation Center, Ft. Sam Houston, TX; and Instructor Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP), Ft. Sam Houston, TX. Dr. Deen’s career has been dedicated to the teaching and mentoring of medical students, physician assistants and residents. She brings a wealth of knowledge and clinical experience to future physician assistant students
