Sister Amelia Bretón, a sister with the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament (SBS), serves as Head of the Religion Department at St. Michael Indian School, founded by St Katharine Drexel in St. Michaels, AZ.

Prior to serving at the school, Sr. Amelia was Evangelization Coordinator at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. She has also served as SBS Vocation Director; Hispanic Adult Faith Formation Director of the Catholic Institute for Evangelization; and held a data entry position at Xavier University.

Sr. Amelia holds a Master’s in Theology/Ministry from LaSalle University and a B.A. in Religious Studies from Holy Family University.
