Barber and Beauty Shop Talk (Undoing Heteronormative Behaviors)
Join the Office of Inclusion and Social Justice as we unlearn toxic masculinity traits by addressing spaces that commonly reinforce heteronormative behaviors. This series will be featured in the parking lot of our all male residence hall and will feature a conversation on masculinity. The conversation will address male privilege, common mental health myths, and build networks of accountability to promote anti-sexist spaces. The talk will feature free haircuts by some of the most prominent barbers and beauticians in the business and will be hosted by Mr. Xavier University of Louisiana. Email gcaston@xula.edu to register.
