Summer Stem Academy

Summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Academy is an engaging three-week robotics program aimed at rising 6th to 8th graders. Participants will discover how to apply mathematical principles, acquire basic programming skills, and learn the essentials of engineering and computer science. This hands-on experience will equip students with valuable skills, setting the stage for their future endeavors in science and technology. Students will have the opportunity to build LEGO robots, learn programing, and attend a field trip to the space science center.

Students who are eligible for Summer STEM Academy meet the following criteria:

• Middle school student (rising 6th–8th grade)
• Little to no previous robotics experience
• Eager to meet peers and work in teams
