XULA ranks #1 in the nation in the number of African American graduates who go on to complete medical school.

#1 in the nation in awarding bachelor’s degrees to African American students in the biomedical sciences, the physical sciences, and physics.

U.S. News “Best Colleges” Guide 2018 rates Xavier as the #1 “best value” among southern regional colleges and universities.

#3 in the nation in the number of African American graduates who go on to earn a Ph.D. in science and engineering disciplines.

Xavier is among the nation’s top four colleges of pharmacy in graduating African Americans with Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degrees.

A New York Times Op Ed piece, “America’s Great Working Class Colleges”, ranked Xavier No. 6 in the nation for upward social mobility and student transformation.

For six consecutive years, The Fiske Guide to Colleges has selected Xavier as a “best buy” for academics and affordability. Xavier is the only school in Louisiana and the only HBCU to receive this recognition.

Your investment has made a huge difference not just financially, but emotionally and mentally. Funding my own education has been a struggle for me since freshman year, and every year someone is gracious enough to assist me. I am truly blessed. I hope that one day I am placed in a position to help others like you have helped me.
