When Ronicka Briscoe, (‘06) Ph.D., joined the Greater New Orleans Corp the same year she graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana, she began a 15-year journey that taught her the importance of centering community in every aspect of her leadership. Now, Dr. Briscoe is preparing to travel between her native New Orleans areas and Houston, Texas as part of a book tour and signing promoting her co-authored book and Amazon bestseller, “Brave Women at Work: Lessons in Leadership.” Special events spanning the Houston and greater New Orleans Area will be held from September 22-October 1, and tickets can be purchased online.  

Dr. Briscoe, a nationally recognized educator, scholar, and leader, is the Founder and CEO of Winning on the Road, LLC, an organization that seeks to elevate leaders and ignites team transformation through professional learning, executive coaching, and customized leadership development programs. Winning on the Road, LLC, is also sponsoring the tour.  

“In Brave Women at Work: Lessons in Leadership,” Dr. Briscoe combines her extensive research and rich experiences to provide practical recommendations and a strategic blueprint for aspiring leaders, especially Black women navigating top positions.
