MLK Day of Service 2020

On Saturday, January 18, Xavier University hosted our annual  MLK Day of Service. On this day, members of the Xavier community committed to working collaboratively with the city of New Orleans, as we collectively promote the dream, life, and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Students began the day at 7:00 am with breakfast and volunteer sign-in.  Some of our sites include the YMCA, New Orleans Museum of Art, The Green Project, Giving Hope, Greenlight New Orleans, St. Bernard Project, Louisiana Children's Museum, and HandsOn NOLA.
