Xavier Gets High Marks in the Niche 2020 Best Colleges Rankings
New Orleans LA – Adding to its growing list of national accolades, Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA) was recognized as one of the nation’s top Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as well as a best value Louisiana colleges & universities in the recently released “Best Colleges 2020” guide by Niche.com
Among HBCUs, scored a top ten rank this year, ranking No.5 among the nation’s 72 Historically Black College and Universities (HBCUs), behind North Carolina A&T State University, Florida A&M University, Howard University, and Spelman College.
Among all Louisiana Colleges & Universities, Niche.com ranked Xavier 4th out of 20 schools in its grouping of the “Best Value Colleges in Louisiana”. This ranking was determined by multiple factors including the best value for your money based on net price, alumni earnings, graduation rates, and student debt using data from the U.S. Department of Education and millions of reviews. The ranking compares the most affordable colleges with the best return on investment.
Xavier also ranked 2nd in "Colleges with the Best Professors in Louisiana" which is based on key statistics and student reviews using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Top-ranked colleges have diverse, accomplished, and well paid faculty members that are rated highly by students
