Capt. Watson assumes command from Captain Kristi M. Luttrell. As the Commander of Sector New Orleans, Capt. Watson will oversee a wide range of Coast Guard operations.

Sector New Orleans works closely with our federal, state, parish and maritime industry partners to protect and save lives as well as to protect our maritime transportation system, which moves hundreds of millions of dollars in daily commerce. This is an awesome responsibility.”
