XULA Baseball Player Signs Five-figure NIL Deal with Mathnasium

A Xavier University of Louisiana sophomore and rising athletic talent, Jayden Smith, who plays outfield on the university’s baseball team, has signed a five-figure NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deal with Mathnasium, an American education brand and math learning franchise. With a mission to teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it, Mathnasium has over 1,100 tutoring centers nationwide that focus on individualized instruction that makes learning math fun for children. Smith made the announcement earlier this month.

The groundbreaking deal was facilitated by The Icon 1901 Collective, the first-ever HBCU collective that helps HBCU athletes profit from their name, image and likeness. As a Mathnasium ambassador, Smith will use his social media presence to advocate for math education and tutoring.
