XULA Women’s Volleyball Team Caps a Winning Season

Xavier University of Louisiana’s women’s volleyball team has achieved remarkable success this season, securing their victory in the championship match of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Tournament. Their teamwork, determination, and skills have propelled them to this impressive position and set the stage for an exciting postseason journey. This is the team’s third consecutive RRAC championship and the 13th consecutive automatic bid to nationals. Though they were ultimately defeated by Eastern Oregon the No. 3 seeded team, the team is looking forward to going even further next year.


“I am proud of the team's performance at the Red River Athletic Conference tournament,” said Xavier University of Louisiana Athletic Director and Head Volleyball Coach, Pat “PK” Kendrick. “The future looks bright for XULA Volleyball with a number of key core members returning and the strong recruiting class coming to Xavier next Fall.”

The Xavier women’s volleyball team proved themselves formidable contenders with their outstanding performances throughout the season, and their fans eagerly cheered them on the road to nationals. The Xavier community continues to rally behind them, and they beam with pride over what the team accomplished. Xavierites are confident that the women’s volleyball team are going to bring home the national title one day.
