Nia Bishop (‘23), former guard on the Xavier University of Louisiana Gold Nuggets Women’s Basketball team, has been chosen as one of the participants in the HBCU Allstar Dream Classic. Bishop majored in Business Management and celebrated a 2022-2023 high of 23 points against Louisiana Christian University in February of 2023. Bishop is one of 40 talented alum and current athletes at all levels of college basketball set to participate in an unprecedented Allstar basketball game at the historic Rucker Park in Harlem, New York City, New York, on August 10.
