March 19 2019

New Orleans LA – Xavier University of Louisiana will commemorate St. Joseph’s Feast Day Tuesday, March 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the University Center with a display featuring unique Xavier touches.

In lieu of a formal altar, the display will include cuccidati – traditional Sicilian fig-stuffed cookies – prepared by freshmen in Dr. Michael Homan’s “Cities of the Dead” classes, as well as decorative ceramic cuccidati made by students in Mapo Kinnord's class.

The event is free and open to the public.
