Many times, we want to express our deep appreciation for the life and legacy of someone special beyond just a floral arrangement.

If your family would prefer a gift to Xavier University of Louisiana in memory of a loved one in lieu of flowers, those wishes can easily be accommodated:

• Contact the Office of Institutional Advancement (504) 520-7575 to establish an account in memory of the name of the recently deceased.
• You may publish the following as part of your memorial services announcement:

“In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that gifts be made to Xavier University of Louisiana in honor and memory of ______________________"(name of the deceased).

• In the memo line of checks, please indicate the name of the deceased for whom the memorial gift is being made.
• Cash or Checks Gifts should be sent to the Office of Institutional Advancement, Xavier University of Louisiana, 1 Drexel Drive, Box 66, New Orleans, LA 70125 c/o Memorial Gifts.

Offering a Mass Intention allows the entire Xavier community to join in prayer in honor and memory of a special someone who is deceased.   A Memorial card can be sent to the family of the deceased to advise them of your spiritual gift.

If you would like to arrange for a Mass Intention:

• Contact the Office of Alumni Relations in the Office of Institutional Advancement
