International Program Types
Study Abroad Programs
Study Abroad Programs are credit-bearing courses taken overseas, for which the student will receive a transcript from the overseas university.
Financial aid may be applied to study abroad programs approved by CIIP.
Academic Enrichment Programs
Academic Enrichment Programs are short trips abroad (less than 4-weeks), usually faculty-led, for which academic credit may or may not be received. These include travel abroad imbedded in academic courses for credit, and spring break travel overseas that does not include academic credit.
Financial assistance may be available for students participating in programs for which academic credit will be received.
Other International Opportunities
Other International Opportunities may include research projects, independent study, volunteerism, and internships, that may last two weeks to several months.
Financial aid may be available if you are participating in a program for which academic credit will be received.
