Materials and Interfaces Center for High Energy Storage and Sensing (MICHESS)
About
MICHESS focuses on performing fundamental interfacial studies in energy storage and sensor, promoting sustainability, and preparing underrepresented minority students for scientific achievements and graduate school to assume roles of leadership and service in a global society.
Our team is strategically divided into two interdisciplinary research groups (IRG1 and IRG2) based on the unique expertise of Xavier faculty and access to exceptional facilities in experimental and computational polymer chemistry, solid-state chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, and engineering to understand materials interactions at the molecular and nanoscale level.
