Your Office of Institutional Advancement (IA) at Xavier University of Louisiana (Xavier) plays a key role in building and stewarding relationships in support of the university's mission, vision, and philanthropic goals. Through our initiatives and services, the Institutional Advancement office works to increase support for scholarships, academic and student support programs, and institutional priorities, as well as foster lifelong connections with students, alumni, and the greater community.
We serve to support Xavier's mission and strategic priorities by building and strengthening relationships. The IA team continuously develops and implements strategies for sustainable, long-term growth in unrestricted, restricted and endowment funds, and to engage alumni in the life of the university.
Those strategies focus on encouraging our alumni, civic leaders, foundation and corporate partners to invest philanthropically. The return on that investment: pride in Xavier's future and the acknowledgment of the critical role played in lifting ensuing generations of Xavierites.
St. Katharine Drexel’s leadership inspires all our actions in accordance with the mission she laid out almost one hundred years ago: to contribute to the promotion of a more just and humane society by preparing Xavier's students to assume roles of leadership and service in an increasingly global society. The investments made by our loyal and generous alumni, as well as the greater community, are what will continue to carry her vision forward into the next century... and the one beyond that.
Xavier’s greatness is the result of contributions made by supporters like you. And for that, we are deeply grateful.
