Student Organizations

Xavier Business Students are an active and engaged cohort, actively working in professional and academic student groups to ensure they can build their social networks and be career-ready:

  • National Association of Black Accountants: Since 1969, the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. has been the leader in expanding the influence of minority professionals in the fields of accounting and finance. For more information on NABA at Xavier, please contact Ms. Margaret M. Diaz-Fugetta at mdiazfug@xula.edu.
  • Xavier Enactus is a student organization that is part of Enactus, a global non-profit organization active in more than 40 countries. The goal of Xavier Enactus is to improve peoples’ lives using entrepreneurial principles.  This goal is accomplished by undertaking projects that help students to acquire and improve project management and presentation skills. Projects have addressed food justice and food insecurity, adolescent education, and minority business development.  Information on Enactus is at enactusunitedstates.org, and information on the Enactus team at Xavier is available by emailing mquinn@xula.edu.
  • American Marketing Association is one of the largest professional associations for marketers, has 38,000 members worldwide in every area of marketing.
